More Power, More Style. New Honor 9 Has Been Released
Just a few days ago during a launch ceremony in Berlin Huawei presented its newest Honor series flagship, the Honor 9.
As you are well aware, Honor is the sub brand of Huawei. A sub brand is a separate product line with more available prices and lighter technical description targeted at a large audience. In its essence it is a budget version of company’s top products.
So who's the new hero? Already, Internet is full of reviews and almost all of them claim that the new Honor 9 is a perfected version of a widely successful Honor 8.
It is worth mentioning that company’s policy towards Honor products has remained unchanged. The philosophy is to create stylish, powerful, multifunctional but most importantly affordable device.
So, what's all the fuss about?
First and foremost the camera. Like in case of Honor 8, here we have two main cameras, but unlike 12MP+12MP set in the previous flagship Smartphone, Honor 9 has 12 MP (color matrix responsible for constant and details) and 20 MP (monochrome, responsible for light absorption) cameras.
In comparison with Honor 8 the fingerprint sensor has changed its position. With new Honor 9 it is located on the front panel of the device. But that's not all since the fingerprint sensor now serves as a replacement for the sensor panel. With different gestures user can «back» or «close» application, navigate to «home screen» etc,.
Interestingly, the scanner is not a separate bottom, but is rather effortlessly integrated into the overall design.
The back of the phone consists of a rounded 3D glass, made out of 15 layers of fine glass, creating a very specific color pattern.
The smartphone is presented in 3 colors – blue, glacier grey and black.
The blue and glacier grey will be available in August, the black option will be launched later this year.
