Huawei SafeCity. Improving World Security
During annual Critical Communications World 2017 Conference this May Huawei presented its new eLTE solution revolving around SafeCity.
It has been created by Huawei and partner organizations and is aimed at improving world security. This policy is not only targeted at Municipal services but the State in general. It helps create universal and dependable convergent solutions and services based on wireless technologies. The solution also includes cloud systems for data analyses and storage.
According to Huawei the fast pace of cities economic development and the improvement of its inhabitants lifestyle means that providing security for people and their property becomes more and more challenging. Guaranteeing security is a problem State and Municipal authorities face on everyday bases, especially during public events as well as emergency situations. It was noted that current radio transmitting technologies do not satisfy modern requirements any longer, thus new technologies are due.
Huawei’s eLTE SafeCity helps solve this issue by offering broadband apps, mobile CCTV, wireless data transfer and other useful features.
eLTE SafeCity has four main functions which combined provide reliable security system able to analyze the needs and demands of a particular city due to its flexibility and preciseness.
The advantages of this solution are numerous, for instance Huawei eLTE-Licensed solutions allows for alarm signal wireless transfer at 120km per hour speed. Another solution, called Huawei eLTE Rapid can be executed within 15 minutes after a state of emergency is declared. This solution can be of vital assistance in times of natural disasters, rescue missions and such. eLTE-U solution allows for secure data transfer.
“Broadband trunking is identified as a right path towards securing public safety through information technologies. Its applications are vastly available and are being implemented on commercial bases at growing rates.
By the end of 2017 first quarter eLTE has been implemented in more than 150 networks of 57 different states. Together with our partners we now present eLTE SafeCity solution based on 3GPP and B-TrunC standards. It has a clear development plan and is a worthy long-term investment»,- said Enterprise Wireless Business representative Peng Jianhua during the conference.
