Yes, this is reality. MateBook. Transformer-tablet with Windows 10 operational system.

 

During the 2016 MWC (Mobile World Congress) Huawei presented one of its newest products Huawei MateBook and earned positive feedbacks from media and fans.

 

Precise, exact with no unnecessary lavishness either in its name or design.  

This classicly styled tablet is particularly useful for «business people». First and foremost Matebook only has one camera, a frontal one. The camera secures top notch quality for conference calls and other entrepreneur activity.

 

But Matebook is not a simple tablet. It can easily be transformed into a notebook. All you need for do is attach the tablet to the keyboard provided.

 

So you might think that transformer tablets are not quite news, since other manufacturers, such as, say, Apple have previously offered similar products. But as many reviewers have mentioned the differences are striking. Huawei has taken into careful consideration the flows of other similar products in order to avoid repeating them. And let’s not forget that the new Matebook operates on Windows 10.

As for the technical description.

 

The back of the Matebook is very slick and classy, with only companies logo engraved on it. The top frontal part is reserved for the camera, as mentioned above with two additional connection points, one of which is for the headphones. But the company offers a far more interesting solution for its clients.

 

Matebook can be purchased alongside a separate doc station (same size as a simple charger) which is connected to the tablet and has HDMI, RJ-45, 2 USB 3.0 Type-A, USB Type-C and even D-Sub ports.

 

If interested you can also acquire a MatePen styllus. It includes the functional of a pen, pencil and other art tools (including a brush, etc.), laser and projector remote control.    

Rumor has it, it's not only designers that love to use this pen ;)

There is a special praise in store for the keyboard. Those who utilize keyboard on daily bases know that finding a convenient one is a serious issue. That’s why people often refuse to use Netbooks, with too small of keyboards to work comfortably.

 

MateBook has found a solution for this as well. Aside from ordinary convenience, mainly thanks to its size,  the keyborad for the Matebook is also easy to use at night thanks to the special illumination.
